Africa is one of the few places which really still a have a wealth of natural environments which can bring the majesty of Mother Nature to the fore.

One does read about the destruction of the fauna of this great content and this is at the forefront of many people’s thoughts.

However, there are still wildlife sanctuaries and other attractions which should attraction people to this wonderful continent.

Let’s start of with those wonderful natural natural attractions.

To see nature at her most majestic and brutal the the migration that happens across the Serengeti between Kenya and Tanzania is without equal anywhere in the world.

The area is known as ‘Africa’s Garden of Eden‘.

Driven by the need of new fodder and the birth of calves the Wildebeest begin moving. Followed by the Zebra and the Gazelles. And they need new grass for those calves. In order to do that they must cross the Mara River between Kenya – and this is where the slaughter begins. Nile Crocodile take their toll as do other predators. But the enormous number of animals ensure that they will live for the trip back – and repeat the cycle.

Of course, there are places in Africa that are not placeholders for encounters as brutal. A number of countries such as Botswana, South Africa and Kenya (among others) have wildlife reserves which allow visitors to experience what is possibly the last place on the planet where unspoiled wildlife can really be enjoyed.

The beauty of these experiences is that you can choose where and how you want to enjoy these wonderful sites and both flora and fauna. You can choose a bush camp or a luxury lodge. But be assured you will be making memories that will last a lifetime.

However, Africa is not all wildlife and the ‘bush’. there are numerous other attractions that draw people to the continent.

There are rich cultures and a history that stretches back to the dawn of civilization. What startles people who visit Africa for the first time is just how friendly people are. Black or white or something in between, there seem to be a rising realization that the many cultures that make up the nations of the continent are a single entity – all committed to the success of the continent.

Africa is a place where you can experience the best of every world. You can have fabulous food at some of the best restaurants on the planet or you can sit with locals and enjoy a meal. You can however be assured that there will always be a smile. It might be shy at first – but it will grow and grow, util you laugh and smile with Mother Africa.
